RigInk

Verify a signed document

Check that a PDF signed with RigInk is the original and has not been changed. The file is checked and then discarded; we do not keep it.

How this works

When everyone has signed, RigInk seals the PDF with a digital signature and records its SHA-256 fingerprint. Changing even one character, or re-saving the file, changes the fingerprint. Adobe Acrobat also shows the seal in its Signatures panel.

Seal certificate

Every sealed PDF is signed with this certificate. Compare the fingerprint with the one Adobe shows, or download the certificate to check a file with OpenSSL.
