Is an e-signature legal for driver files?
Yes. The U.S. ESIGN Act and state UETA laws make electronic signatures as valid as ink, and FMCSA allows electronic records in driver qualification files (49 CFR 390.32). RigInk records consent, intent and identity for every signer.
Do drivers need an app or an account?
No. They tap the link in the email and sign in the phone's browser.
What if a driver typed the wrong email or I sent the wrong form?
Correct the email and RigInk sends a new link, or cancel the document. Anything not yet signed can be cancelled, one at a time or a whole bulk send at once.
How do I prove a document wasn't changed?
Every finished PDF is sealed with a digital certificate and has a certificate of completion. Anyone can drop the file on the Verify page to check it.
